This guide will explain the in's and out's of the McMMO plugin on Journey and how you can level up and get sweet abilities!
/(skillname) - will show you everything you need to know about the specific skill - very useful!
/mcstats - shows you your stats on the scoreboard to the side
/mctop (skillname) - shows the leaderboard for a specific skill
/inspect (player) - shows detailed information of a player (you must be close to them)
/mcmmo help - shows help page
/mcability - toggle the use of each skill's ability via right click
Example of a player's level in each skill:
McMMO adds a skill system to the game with 15 separate skills to master. They are as follows:
(Gathering) Mining, wood-cutting, herbalism, excavation, fishing
(Combat) Unarmed, archery, swords, axes, taming
(Misc) Repair, acrobatics, alchemy, salvage, smelting
Each skill has (1) a way to level through that skill, (2) new abilities to achieve with higher levels, and (3) old abilities that get more powerful along the way.
Mining - To gain XP for the mining skill, you must mine with a pickaxe in hand. Only some blocks give you XP (stone, ores, mossy cobble, netherrack, end stone, etc.)
Note: Enchant a diamond pickaxe with unbreakable & efficiency 10 for the ultimate speed. Get a haste beacon if you want extra speed. Mine end stone as it gives you the most XP! (/warp end)

Woodcutting - You must mine with an axe in hand to gain XP. Only wood types give you XP.
Note: Plant some 2x2 jungle saplings or spruce saplings for some massive trees. Take an unbreakable diamond axe to them with tree feller (your activated ability) and get lots of wood & XP!

Herbalism - Collecting any plants or herbs will give you XP (grasses, flowers, wheat, carrots, etc.)
Note: The best way to get XP is to use a massive sugarcane farm. Besides, it's a great way to get money too.

Excavation - digging dirt/gravel/sand and finding treasures gets you XP.
Note: Find a desert and start mining w/ an unbreakable shovel! (keep the land nice though, please!)

Fishing - fish for fish!
Note: Use an automatic fishing machine (tutorials on YouTube!)

Unarmed - Get combat bonuses by using your fists as weapons!
Note: Get a grinder where all mobs fall into a 1 block space and farm XP. (mobs - skeletons, zombies, etc.)

Archery - levelup by using your bow in combat!
Note: (Similar to unarmed) get a grinder and use the mobs as target practice!

Swords - use your sword to fight for XP.
Note: (Similar to unarmed) file all mobs down into a 1 block radius and take your sword out!

Axes - get XP & and build up your strength by hacking away at mobs and other players.
Note: Use a grinder similar to the ones used with unarmed, archery, and swords to get a ton of XP!

Taming - tame animals to alongside you in battle to gain XP.
Note: Use a grinder but with a hole for your dogs to attack the mobs.

Repair - gain XP by repairing armor with an iron block (mcmmo anvil)
Note: Get diamond armor & a bunch of diamonds and sit on a cactus to wear down your armor, then repair!

Acrobatics - gain XP by falling (but not dying)
Note: Set up a series of 10-block high drops and set a home at the top!

Alchemy - brew potions!
Note: Use more brewing stands at once for maximum efficiency!

Salvage - skill level & XP is based on repair & fishing levels

McMMO parties allow a group of people to share XP, items, teleport, and chat!
Create a party with /party create (name) and invite players with /party invite (player). View your party's information with /party. More commands can by found by typing /party help.
